Crazy exciting fight! I was expecting Conor to embarrass himself out there but he looked a lot better than I would have expected!

Much respect to Conor and Floyd, and thanks for the entertainment!

This won't make me a boxing fan though

Conor dwelling on the stoppage a bit, I don't like that. But he has a point I think

I think that he should have let him hit the ground and get an 8 count and try to last the round and keep going

Edit: Paulie made a good point at the end - if Conor was at least trying to throw punches, the ref probably would have let it continue.

Judges only gave Conor 3 rounds

There's no way he would have won without finishing Floyd. The judges wouldn't allow it

hmm pretty entertaining fight. 10 rounds = $10 per round for PPV.

Watched it free. That fight definitely wasn't worth $100. Mayweather didn't even break a sweat.

Found a Portuguese stream that was pretty damn good and never looked back haha

I counted 14 shots to the head pretty much in a row to CM. Pretty sure the ref just saved his brain a couple of years

I was able to watch the official UFC 1080p feed, that was so cool

I shared it here earlier, hopefully someone caught it

IMO if it was $20 I would have spent that, and it would have been totally worth it. $100 though, no way, even in hindsight after a very entertaining event.

It was entertaining but honestly that stoppage is the reason I don't care for boxing. Unless Conor knocked him out there was no way McGregor was going to win even if he decisively won every round.

A respectable fight from McGregor. Although he fought hard, Mayweather's boxing skill and conditioning was too much for him.

-no wonder Mayweather still owes taxes to the IRS. He just bragged about buying these two La Ferrari:

Great fight. Conor did way better than I expected but I knew that he was gonna get gassed. Bought the HD PPV and split it with 5 others so under $20. That and pizza hut's $5, $5, $5 deal made for a good night

Apparently Conor wants to finish the Nate trilogy next. Nate super smart by not taking any fights until this came back up

I think with all that boxing training, the third fight is going to be much more in Conor's favour.. right? Especially if it's at 155

it has to be now with all of the standup, he's that much better and will be a great fight as well. I think that is also the most marketable on top of that.

McGregor:"I turned him into a Mexican tonight" ... translation? Was that a compliment, an insult, or a racial comment ??

It means he made Floyd fight with more aggressiveness. It was a compliment to Floyd on his performance that night, and to Mexican fighters who are ferocious and entertaining.

It's a comment on how defensive and boring he usually is - after almost every Mayweather PPV, people complain about how boring the matches are, even though he is technically pretty much perfect.

I do have to say it's one of the best boxing matches I have seen in years, when Connor was in the clinch and the punches at the back of the head made me cringe but it was still awesome and as most people said he did way better then anyone thought possible.

I recall reading article that Mayfeather got was literally getting paid $178K for every second of the entire fight. I can't even make that in 2 years LOL.
