I was cheering hard for Connor, the loss still hurts today.

Let's be real here, I doubt there will be an immediate rematch anyways, Connor doesn't deserve it. That was a one-sided beating, plain and simple, any other Connor fans can admit that one.

Much rather see Ferguson against Khabib, if that happens. Give Connor a fight with Pettis or Nate (if he wins in New York).

Ferguson is a legit beast, he's going to be a nightmare for anyone, especially Khabib with that guard of his.

not going to lie..... ferguson looked very very scary against anthony last fight. I am a bigger guy that ferguson and even I am shitting my pants watching that beating. He would fuck me up in 5 seconds in the cage lol

he looks way better than khabib too i think. Striking far superior than mcgregor and khabib had troubles a bit with the striking

I don't think Conor is interested in a rematch lol.. That is even if Khabib will be able to fight again before 2020. NSAC is expected to come down hard on him (unlike Bones or Mike Tyson, he's not a big money making star, so they won't mind stripping him of his license). And if they do, UFC will be forced to vacate the title. They already set a precedent of taking titles off guys very easily.

Conor will be more interested in a GSP fight, or another fight with Nate if Nate is out of the title picture.

As for the title, look for a title fight between Ferguson and the winner of Nate vs Porier for the title once it's stripped from Khabib (or an interim title). THEN maybe we'll see Conor in the mix again

just trying to bring his income up higher,UFC also likes milking their fighters making certain fighters earn their belt...into the fire from the pan isn't very good for any fighter unless they've really proved themselves.

Connor punched first. It's quite clear. I saw it when it happened and Connor threw a left hand at the dude and then they reacted. Watch it again in Slow motion. The guy hitting him from behind was a result of Connor hitting the guy on top of the cage starting the melee.

Either way, that still doesn't excuse someone from being able to sucker him and keep their job

IMO someone who belongs in the cage (the fighters, ref, and security) have a bit more right to be physical than the clowns jumping in after the fact to fight.
