Overeem just looking old and slow now. Should consider calling it quits. |
At one point my all time favourite fighter, it's sad to see Overeem (IIRC he's the only one I've ever bought merch for) in that state, looking every bit his age now too. Not going to tell him what to do, but I've lost interest. |
He should either go fight somewhere that lets him back on the sauce or retire. |
rizen just saw skinny's post dear lawd...did he cross his arms and pose after a tiger knee like that!? Kappa http://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/re...2015_23_55.png |

i was hoping he'd have another run at it... :okay: |
Usman or Burns tonight? I'm going to go out on a limb and say Burns for the upset. |
Burns is a beast, but I'm going with Usman. It's an interesting fight, but Usman has looked unbeatable. |
Great fight !!! These guys pack a punch! |
I think I said this before, but Usman would be the new GSP if MMA was still popular. He reminds me of him in many ways, and now destroying his opponent with a jab! He pretty much cleaned out the division hasn't he? Oh wait Wonderboy with the nasty callout |
thompson cutting deep did it seem a little weak that barber & grasso was the co-main? don't get me wrong it was a good fight i enjoyed it...just thought a co-main would have a bigger name on it. |
That's what happens when you're obligated to put on like 60 shows in a year LUL |
UFC started using the 8K camera, really nice effects! |
What I tell ya. He's unbeatable. Wonderboy? Yawn, come on man, WB has been beaten by guys Usman has walked through. No one is clamoring to watch that fight. I hope he doesn't try to move up to 185, I'd be happy to see him continue to hold the 170 pound division for the long future here. BTW, a girl fight for a co-main event, with one of them ranked 10th in a weak division? If you bet for a decision in any of these "fights", 9 times out if 10, you'll win :lol |
Blaydes vs. Lewis ...Lewis should be fined for those 2 extra punches after the TKO. Totally unnecessary, he was out cold. You gonna seriously injure someone ! |
Ngannou deserves a title shot but it'd be interesting to see him and Lewis, duke it out. In lightweight, I'd like to see Poirier/Gaethje for the belt and Oliveira/Chandler. Ferguson and McGregor need to fight down, both coming off losses. |
lewis wants overeem tho to "clap dem cheeks" :lol |
I think Overeem is pretty much done. |
i hate to say it but i agree...imagine he takes the fight, beats lewis, lines himself up for a title shot and wins? let a guy dream guys KreygasmResidentSleeper arlovski lost too :okay: |
People underestimate Lewis every time! He looks so awkward out there with his stance, but he can actually stuff takedowns, or if he taps you with an uppercut you're going down! He's such a goofball but actually has skill, and deadly hands Also mega props to Arlovski for even getting in there at 42. As soon as I hit 40, it was like a switch went off in my body, and suddenly it became hard to recover from workouts, and hard to stay lean. Even when I was in the best shape of my life at 38. So weird... So I appreciate athletes in their 40's way more now. UFC should consider a legends division. |
Israel Adesanya or Jan Blachowicz? I'm going with Blachowicz |
Israel. All day. You chose Burns last one, you were wrong doubting Usman. Never bet against a Nigerian :lol My card picks: -Israel -Nunes -Yan -Makhachev -Santos |
Got to go with Israel but if he wins he'll be the lightest LHW champ in UFC history, weighing in at 200 lbs. Blachowicz what do you think his fighting weight is? 220? 230? Smaller cage too, Israel is going to have to be very careful. |
he'll have to matrix/andersen it and make him chase smoke. the ko power is real |
