I think the Blachowicz fight wasn't as much as a robbery as it was being said on the card there.
Draw is a fair outcome, those legs kicks were brutal, he dropped him numerous times with those calve kicks, caused more damage than all that wrestlefucking in the last 2 rounds.
Stephen Bonnar dead at 45. His life really looked like it went off the rails the last few years so we'll see what the cause ends up being. Shitty news nonetheless.
TMZ reported video of Dana White's wife slapping him and he slapping her back, didn't seem to get a lot of buzz in media, though some MMA channels are reporting it.
odd that UFC's press is directing media inquiries to TMZ's article vs releasing their own statement.
I'm surprised myself how little press attention that got to be honest, because I know damn well how much the media reports when a different "type" of athlete or personality does the same thing.
Perhaps his wife also helped by releasing a statement essentially saying they were both at fault?
ariel had a POV that sort of made sense, he tried to be as "unbiased" as possible given their history, though at the end he did get a bit heated and boomeranged a comment dana said back in 2016 mocking him 'what will your kids think' back at him regarding this incident.
ariel commented why he thinks there's been little buzz and why it's being swept under the rug...also calling out media/fans/fighters for supporting dana...
the 283 card looks like it could be a good one...
didn't hear much about rizin NYE event, guess they didn't have any freak show fights or big names...
It's definitely odd how little coverage there has been about this. Meanwhile Dana posts some food video on twitter like nothing happened.
His response on TMZ was basically him deflecting and making it about how they are only concerned about their kids right now.
How in this current climate of being cancelled for basically anything can this guy get away from this scot-free especially when his company is affiliated with ESPN/Disney.
I read that and thought ... damn, UFC lost a good guy in Francis Ngannou. Guy worked his way up to the top and deserved a payday. Not sure what happened behind the scenes but a damn shame.
I don't know how anyone can actually be a fan of slap fights, like look at that guys face. It's beyond messed up. I think its more of the shock that attracts people to be honest.
Something this stupid should be reserved for drunk idiots outside of a bar. Making an actual league with dudes who can slap you unconscious just seems ridiculous.

Fedor loses his retirement fight, badly, against RYAN BADER (so that's 0-2 against him).. I don't think he's ever won a fight that wasn't against a can or fucked around with in some weird way, so good for him. Most overrated fighter in the history of MMA.
