As bad as I feel for GSP, it makes me realize how bad I feel for Dominick Cruz. GSP went thru it once already and has to go thru it again, but Cruz had to go thru it back to back on the same knee when the new ACL didn't take. And GSP was essentially retired with a big bank account when he blew his second one out, while Cruz was just about to start making some money as he came into the peak of his career, and his weight class finally started taking off but instead hes been out for 2+ years with no paycheques.

Can you imagine if they fought someone like Jon Jones and his crazy push kick to the knee.... I recall Rampage limping pretty damn bad after their fight..

i remember rampage was complaining in an interview a while back saying it should be illegal and that it's not in the UFC's interests to allow that as it could easily injure fighters as the kick is meant to break the knee cap or something.

They are 100% working on putting this match together. Of course that doesn't mean it will happen, but they are trying.

Whether it gets posted as a bizarre March 31st April Fools joke or somewhere down the line, I won't be surprised when it gets announced.
