Rogan went on the UG and explained that Dana was pissed at one of the producers because they told him to ask that question. Decisions like that usually go through Lorenzo and Dana first, so they were completely blindsided when he asked that question.

That's the official story anyway ;)

It's more likely that it was a planned angle, but they were supposed to back out of the plan after they found out about her knee scope. Also her hand was hurt before the match, with a sprained ligament. Someone in production forgot, and went ahead with it, and Dana flipped out.

The truth is, UFC 176 may have to be cancelled, which also adds to Dana's stress levels :lawl:

Strange fight indeed. I was looking forward to a Nova Uniao trained BJ Penn and cornered by Pedeneiras... Instead I got a usual version and cornered by freaking Parillo...

His striking and stance just didn't make any sense whatsoever. He was as stiff as a wall

Its no surprise that BJ was at his best when he trained with the Marinovich brothers. They didn't take shit from anybody, so they always made sure BJ stuck to his training. The issue with BJ is his fight camps are always surrounded by yes men that don't know when to tell him to smarten the fuck up

Call me crazy but I'd love to see him keep fighting.. but not the top tier but mid guys if he's ok with that and get some confidence.. He's only 35 yo..
