Best place in Vancouver to repaint 4 of my rims?

I know this is stupid to ask this again in this thread, but I actually did a bit of HK on this. There is a lot of ppl saying Green, Pathern, Nubite..., but those are way over my budget. And I dont think I have the time to repaint it by myself and dont want to screw up my rims as well. So here you go, I have to ask again.

Where is the best place and cheap (no low quality paint) price to go for repainting my rims?

My budget is around 4 to 6 hundreds including dismount and mount and balance too. I have a 20 cm long curb on only one of my rim and the rest is still good with a little bit paint peal off.

Thank you so much guys!!

Those are the three places you can go to get your wheels refinished professionally. If they're out of your budget, then you're SOL.

Had good experience with Western Wheelcraft. Give Shinez a call too, they were the cheapest when I called around looking for quotes.

+1 for Western Wheelcraft.

Mike came to my house a couple years ago, picked up my wheels (with tires still on), he deflates the tires, pushes back the bead, preps & paints.. then drops them back at your house. I think it was $450 for four wheels, done in dark graphite. Took a couple of days.

Still look minty now...

Renewz Wheel Refinishing in North Van. When I worked for Cap Audi we sent all our cars there. Its right by the Lonsdale Quay. I think they quote 100-150$ per wheel depending on how bad it is.

You get what you pay for, if you can't afford the places listed you are SOL.

But you could always go the private modder route.

Shinez is the cheapest, but are they good? Do you have any experience with them?

Shinez did a good job refinishing my machined finish rims. Couldn't get it 100% but he had told me before I handed my wheels over and it was priced accordingly

I've painted a dozen rims over the last few years, for my cars or friends. Spray paint is OK if you know what your doing and proper prep... but I'd go the powder coating route as you'll avoid getting paint chips.

Get the curb mark repaired without refinish, then have it blasted and then powdercoated. the blasting and coating should be no more than $100 per rim, and that's being generous.

Failed miserably. Sand blasting won't remove powder coating apparently. Any other ideas?

Super Remover Paint, Glue and Varnish Remover | Canadian Tire

I tried the most aggresive media they had- Medium sized Garnet. Normally they don't reccomend using it for aluminum at all...
