Any reason why you guys went with a 331 over a 347?

Damn, got to love that Ford windsor block.
A stock 302 windsor block would have split in half at that power level...

Likely an FRPP or Dart block.

Yeah so why not a 363?

I'm not trying to be a critic, just curious as I've read people say they don't trust any of the longer-stroke Windsor builds and they swear on the 331

Thanks guys! It's actually an FRPP Boss block. The reason it's a 331 is due to the shorter cylinders on the boss. Although you can run a 347 with a 3.4" stroke, it is a better option to go with the shorter stroke of a 331. Although the bigger displacement the better for the most part, it's not a huge difference so I'd just make up for those few cubic inches with boost!
