i get to see lots of people behind pointing at my car usually with a smile on their face.. and sometimes laughing

the first day i had my front mount intercooler mounted before i finished boost i had some kid ask if my car was turboed when i was going to superstore... i didnt wanna feel like a chump so i said yes.. dont you see the front mount!

alot of the time i have people as how my tires dont hit the fenders.. pretty common

but most of all! random people offer to buy my car! once at a richmond meet i had a guy pull up and offer me 5g cash.. i understand at the time thats alot for my car but i lover her to much and cannot let go

and i have had a guy follow me after he saw my car at the mall to offer to buy my car, again i refused his offer...

and i guess my favorite reactions of all is a 5.0L mustang owners who embarrass themselves doing a pull with me... it never gets old seeing their dissapionted faces (in mexico on a closed course with professional drivers) of course

When I had my black 240Z it attracted a ton of attention from dudes.

So when I was at the SFU Tim Hortons one day and the cashier asked if I was the one with the black Z, my ears perked up then she (finally a chick!) went on to say, "that's so awesome! My boyfriend loves your car."

Bugeye WRX;

-Does that car have turbo?
-Is that a V6 under the hood?
-*points at my car* I like your car, looks like a cute animal.

I have a turbo timer as well, and people would think that I left my keys in the ignition on when I walk out of my car with the engine still running.

Took my K20a2 Civic to Canadian Oil change cause I was lazy and had a coupon laying around, the guy popped the hood and the next thing I knew each employee on shift made their way over to snag a look, was quite humorous.

with itr: Is that a real type R

when I had the tiburon: is that a porsche? is that a ferrari? is that a mustang? whats the T stand for? honestly probably had more people take pictures of this car that any other car i've been in.

in boosted teg:
is your car turbo?
"yea."
oh sweet, is it a k swap?....
uh no.
"oh....."

In california(All different people)
"That is the most pretentious fucking car I have ever seen, if I won the lottery I would be caught dead in that."
"Nice rental car"
Guy in the cross walk hands me a business card and says "when you want to stop driving around in daddy's car and want to actually make some money give me a call"
"Nice car and all but why would you put ferrari badges on a porsche? looks stupid"
(BoostFever can vouch for last two ^

+1 on attention from dudes. I've had a guy in a new dodge ram honk at me and pull me over because he wanted to buy my talon tsi awd. That thing got a ton of attention from dudes in their 40s who thought it was the coolest car in their high school days

Man some of your guys stories are pretty funny

The Mustang will get a thumbs up, a "nice car" or other form of compliment almost every time I take it out.

Once I took the car to Bellingham to watch my little sister's soccer game, and the border guard was more interested in talking to me about my car than what I was going to the states for.

On the way back, I was idling in line and there was a woman in a hybrid civic with save the planet type hippie stickers on it. She leans out her window, pinches her nose and says "it's running kind of rich". To which i said "that's the smell of baby seal tears" or something like that. The look on her face was priceless.

Lol, I'm sure many of us are no stranger to people telling us their car is faster than ours. Outside a restaurant, guy asks who owns the g35. Says its a sweet car but his prelude would kill it because it has 400hp..

Your car can pull with a 5.0l mustang (Are you talking a Coyote or the old 5.0's?) anyway, that's rather fast if it's a new 5.0...

In the Accord:

"Is that the new Sebring!?"

Actually, for such a pedestrian car, I've gotten quite a few compliments on the Accord. I've even had a few kids yell out at me with "Cool car!" over the years. A couple months ago I was driving in traffic next to some older guy in an early 90's Accord and me and him were having a conversation through the window while driving about the merritts of the 7g vs 4g. Told me the car looked good slammed and finally drove off.

people mistaking it for other cars(everything from ferrari to probe), not knowing what car is it, getting death stares by other "sports cars", everyone trying to race me, getting yelled at across intersections/parking lots/gas stations, speculations on my drivetrain etc.

compliments are far and few in between, but they are usually by car guys that show respect or just girls liking the exterior. almost everyone has something bad to say about it. weight, reliability, rx7/supra/300/skyline is better, etc.
i don't give a fuk. self built&tuned, and i love it to death.

it's one of the biggest attention whores, even more so when i had it straight piped(back fires, turbos spooling, bov).
car is mitsubishi gto with 97 exterior conversion.

When I was driving my brothers maserati in downtown vancouver. I had a girl cross the street, stop dead in her tracks and walk up to the window and asked if she could have a ride.

Too easy in Vancouver.

Oh, one example I had forgotten until now:

My original MX6 was pretty modified and had a slew of Cobalt Autometer gauges throughout the interior. My girlfriend at the time drove it to 7-11 one night and a bunch of girls walked up to her and asked her if it was hers. She said no, that it's mine. They then proceeded to say how rich I must be to have a car that looks like that and let her drive it without worrying about her wreck it.

Back when I had my EL I had some dude try to give me advice.

"Oh, I see you're modding it.. make sure you put bigger brakes on it as well. Too many people invest in speed and don't think about how they're going to slow down."

It was actually good advice, but my response was, "Dude, it has 127hp."

get tons of comments on polka dots that I got on my car. Most common one is, "is that duct tape?"

#1. Whileeeeeee back when I was heading to Waves in Richmond
Someone white guy who saw me getting out of my car at the parking lot asked me "what kind of civic is that and why do you have a Bentley emblem?"

#2. Went on a late night trip to the states with a guy I was seeing back then
Some guy goes up to him" hey nice car man I really like it. I wouldn't let my gf drive it if I were you"

#3. Another late night trip to FedEx with my good bro
Washington guy asks what kind of car it is. Kinda looks at my friend so my friend goes "it's her car just to clarify"

#4. This guy who was taking pix of my car:" is this your bf's car?"
"no"
"is this your dad's car? "
