Do you guy's suggest buying a full case for the ipad? Does the back really cratch that easily?

Edit: Just ordered a Poetic Case.... Man prices change so much depending on color, black was the cheapest at $4.95 + shipping came out to $14.95. I think white was 10bucks more and other colors etc.

Always go full body case. A stratch on the back hurts a lot....... I had my stratch already

woohoo! got mine a day early surprisingly. It's noticeably thicker and heavier than the original mini... So far it looks like it'll fit into the original mini's cases like the dodocase.

I'll look into the comparison between the two in the next couple hours

Biggest difference between mini and mini retina so far is reading small text. Small text is so much more legible on the retina. Other than that though, I haven't seen much difference.

The plastic snap on cases don't fit the mini retina...

The Logitech one looks pretty good. Have you looked into the Zagg keyboard case yet?

Zagg is good but the only thing I don't like about them is that I can't fold them up and hold the ipad in my hands like the other keyboard. Ended up getting just a cover for the ipad and using the mac keyboard with it.

Purchased ipad mini w/retina display yesterday. Looks pretty good, still learning ios 7.xxx

Found a neat rotating cover case but for some reason its hard to snap the ipad mini into slot, read online that gen1 and gen2 are 0.3mm depth in difference.
Wonder if that is such a big concern to make it fit snug?? Guess its time to return.

Anyone suggest good cover case?
Installed a merkury screen cover already.

Present for dad's xmas gift

I got a huge price error today at Target working to my favor.

I was there earlier today trying to pick up an iPad.

Bought one, came out, wife called to see if I could pick up another one for her little sister. So I went in, bought the 2nd one. And for some reason, the clerk seemed to have applied both gift cards (the second one I was getting+the 1st one I used as partial payment) on the 2nd iPad. But I still got another GC when I left the store. I didn't realize until I got home. Then the angel in me told me to get this right.

Went back, spoke with the manager, she checked everything, but couldn't figure a way to reverse it properly after trying for 15min. Then she gave up and told me "enjoy your discount, this one is on us."

Tl;dr: got 2 ipads with 3 $115 GC instead of 2, and used 2 on the 2nd purchase.

Anyone know what's the refund policy on open box items?

I bought a retina mini today. I'm sick trying to figure out why the wifi is fucked up. Connects for a minute and stops working. All my devices at home work completely fine connected to wifi.

if you bought this from the apple store, you can just refund/exchange. I would suggest power cycle your router and restart your ipad set to forget your network and try connecting again.

I tried the network reset a few times. It shows I'm connected to wifi but Internet doesn't work. Then it will work for say 1-5 minutes and stop working.

I went online and searched for the issue. Seems to be a common issue. It's the ipad mini itself since I have many devices connected at home that work fine.
