I'm heading to Peru in 12 days and will be using Gadventures for the Machu Picchu. I will report back when i return. They have a good reputation and one in my group used them for a south Asia trip which she loved. Where you headed?

Gap is now called Gadventures as pgmatt already said. I just got back from a 21 day trip with G in Peru/Bolivia. I have done some travelling in my day and I have to say our G group was great! (other then some of our hotels). Our guide was amazing, it wasn't dry and boring like most tours. He would come out drinking if thats what we wanted(some how got us to drink free one night at a night club in Cusco and would get us "happy hour" at most restaurants). Plus even got us to check in at the air port in the first class line, cause the normal line was way to long. Another plus is our group was very small only 10 people in our group and all like minded people and everyone got along great.

In short I would use them again and, in fact I am planning on using them within the next year or so again.

I have returned from Peru yesterday. I used Gadventures for the Inca trail hike and was very impressed with them overall. They were very organized, staff was knowledgeable, everything was laid out well and ran smoothly. I will use them again in the future for adventure type trips that are difficult to do on your own. Many others i spoke to while in Peru had good things to say about them as well.

I did the Independent Inca discovery with them to cover the hike portion. We did our own thing for a trip to the Amazon to Lake Sandoval and a trip to Puno for a few days. I will def use them again no complaints and they have a good reputation for treating porters, locals etc ethically/fairly. I am jealous of your trip it looks bad ass!I did not find them expensive either the prices seemed reasonable. I can't wait to go back to South America soon but 2014 is Iceland and back to Europe so it might have to wait. One of my travel partners used G to go to southern Asia and had a great time there.
