T-Mobile offers 200MB free monthly data for all tablets

T-Mobile has announced a new way to try their network with your LTE-enabled tablet. As part of the Un-carrier 3.0 initiative, users — even those who are not a current T-Mobile customer — will receive 200MB of free LTE data on any eligible device every 30 days. This offer is good for tablets purchased through T-Mobile, or any compatible device you may already have or have purchased elsewhere. Users who already have a tablet data plan with T-Mobile will get an extra 200MB monthly. this offer will last for the life of the device.

I wonder if Canadians can get this deal. Would be pretty awesome for shopping trips.

All you need to do is buy a T-Mobile Sim card and you should have 200mb data as long as your connected to T-Mobile LTE network.

Why? 200mb resets every 30days. I'd keep my Roam Mobility as backup I guess.

How does the latter half of this part work?

So as long as you have an LTE compatible device + purchase a T-Mobile sim card...you get 200mb/month for life?

T-Mobile has been doing some big things lately. My favourite yet is the free international data roaming. Subscribers to their classic plans get the ability to cross over to Canada and access high-speed data at no extra charge. There is literally no catch to this! Amazeballs!

So I just need a the mobile sim card and I can put it into an LTE compatible tablet? Do I need to register or activate the sim card? Might have one lying around already.
