not sure if this is true or not....

The 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 to Debut on November 17th, Teased Today (Video) - Torque News

Quote:
hroughout this video, we see short interview segments with Ford’s top brass including Jim Farley, Joe Hinrichs, Mark Fields and Raj Nair along with quick shots of a car that I suspect is the 2016 Shelby GT350 Mustang. Starting early in the video, we see close up images of what appears to be a suede wrapped steering wheel, bright silver pedals, a grille insert, a wheel, a street tire, exhaust tips, a roof ditch molding and the valve cover shown above – with the video ending with the same image which starts the video. This final image is again accompanied by the 1/5 in the top right and the date 11-17-14. - See more at: The 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 to Debut on November 17th, Teased Today (Video) - Torque News

Mustang6g have threads from the tuners for ecoboost.

Here are the mods for this 11.81 runs, and some interesting facts about it:

Quote:
First 11-second EcoBoost Mustang
Quickest EcoBoost powered vehicle in the 1/4 mile
Race Gas Tune
Removed Passenger Seat
Removed cat-back (has factory cat and downpipe)
17" drag wheel/tire combo
Everything else is as delivered from the factory

The difference is that the 5.0 will pull those times all day long, over and over, on pump gas.

The ecoboost has the boost cranked for race gas, and who knows how many passes you'll get before the motor turns into a grenade.

I know what you're meaning.... but the 5.0 in the AM video actually broke on its 4th run of the day. So not quite all day long.

is the premium package required to have the performance pack? just wondering because my old car has the performance pack (circa 2011) and it's not a premium, so i was nowhere near $50k+
