Osaka & Tokyo

Hey guys,

My buddy and I will be in Osaka (Nov 17-20 Sun-Wed) and Tokyo (Nov 20-23 Wed-Sat) for the first time and I'm wondering what are the must-do's there? In Osaka, we will be staying in Shinsaibashi and Tokyo will be close to Shinjuku. We both would like to do the tourisy thing and shopping during the day time, and at night we would like to go drink, party, club etc.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. I've checked out tripadivory already but I would like to get some inputs from our fellow rsers.

Cheers

Spent a few days in Kyoto and Osaka on my last trip. Did all the requisite touristy things, the temples and the markets. Hands down, the most memorable thing me and my buddy did was rent a bike on our last day and just dicked around the neighbourhood. Rode along the riverbank, hit up some random restaurants and arcades. It was even raining, but honestly time of our life. Only thing we regretted about it was we didn't do it sooner. BTW, we did this in Kyoto, where life is slower, and the neighbourhoods are smaller.

Get some ink done traditional style.

Though booking is going to insane and with the time line you provided, it will be doubtful you can find a place on such short notice.
