Road and Track's 2013 Performance Car of the Year.

Road and Track's drivers select the Corvette Z51 as the 2013 Performance Car of the Year.

If money is no object, I would choose the F12 Berlinetta.

One thing I've noticed is that most of these Car of the Year tests with different magazines all have either the Focus RS or Fiesta ST mixed in with the rest of the high end sports cars. Obviously they never win, but the fact that they're even considered and thrown in with the group shows something.

I'm not surprised at all the Corvette won.

GO MURICA

I'm sure it's a good car. I wonder how many times Timpo voted?

Shows that Ford is paying big bucks to have them included?

Focus ST & Fiesta ST are incredible car with its value & fun.
It just that Canadian in general don't appreciate them.

Even Top Gear UK rank Fiesta ST best in it micro class.

If the best time you ever had in your life was spent driving a Mini, you need to get out more, my friend.

i know this is a road & track thread, but you have to go on youtube and watch the motor trend channel... that wagon is stupendous in how fast it was.

This reminds me of many Miata vs. anything with lots of horsepower arguments I've read on car forums.

Look at the torque number on the E63 wagon. It's the highest amongst those cars, even higher than F12 and SLS black series.
V8 engines with low end torque is AMGs tradition, now mix that with two turbos and AWD, that thing will fucking fly.
Pretty impressive.
