| Sony Xperia Z Ultra
Hey guys, I am using my iphone 4 on Fido at the moment (not on contract). I recently finally upgraded to a "data" plan lol... I was always the cheap asian who goes to starbucks/McDicks when I needed smth lol....
But ya just recently got the retention $45 ($60 regular) 2GB, unlimited talk and text...
But now I finally feel like the iphone4 screen is limiting me (lol blame the extra time now I can spend on my phone cuz of data -.-)
I dont have a tablet/ipad or what not... now tell me your thoughts on the Sony Xperia Z Ultra? Should I choose this over the Note 3?
And last question, I am planning to buy it in the states with an alberta license (no tax). Will I have any problems popping in my fido sim from a phone from the Sony Store down at the states?
Sorry for all the noob questions lol... kinda new at this shit.
Any thoughts/comments are welcome. TIA

Z ultra is just too big, imo.
Have you tried those 5" phones first?

Jumping from an iPhone 4 to a Z Ultra is going to be a huge change. It's almost like using a tablet. I suggest you actually hold one in hand before you actually decide. You might want to go the middle ground and get a 5.7" device like a Note 3 instead.

I use an Xperia Z Ultra with the SBH52 and love it. The only thing people (who aren't actually users) consistently whine about on the internet is that there is no camera flash or that it's too big but I don't care. I use it for the screen size. The bigger the screen size, the better for me. I carry it around in my jacket pocket or day bag. I got mine unlocked at the Sony Store and use it on Rogers.
If you like screen size and don't mind the lack of camera flash, get the Z Ultra. I use model #6806 which is the North America version. I can get LTE no problem.

In fact, the K850 I still keep in my car as a backup phone in case of emergencies, even though I still have an iPhone, GalaxyS and a couple other more modern phones boxed up in storage.

i wouldn't recommend the sony ultra...
having used it..the waterproof feature is just useless...cos any water on the screen screws up with the touch sensitivity. The phone detects the water as a button press and just goes bonkers..
