I've been looking for winters tires since summer and found many awesome deals on CraigsList. Ranging from $180 for a set of 4 with 9/32 thread to a almost new set for $450 with 12/32 thread. Snow tires new are 13/32 thread. Just make sure you bring a tire gauge when you check out the tires. A lot of seller will say 80% but after measuring, it be like 60% so you can use that to lower the price. But you have to be quick when you see a set pop up and also you have to factor in mounting and balancing cost.
