-TD Insurance?
-RBC Insurance?

any pros/cons would be great.

need to get some travel medical, not for trip cancellation or interruption.

I've always used BCAA because I'm a member. I can't comment for the other stuff.

3m coverage for about 20 bucks. Can't complain about that.

^20 bucks for how many days and where to?

Ive used Bluecross, TD and Allianz. Ive paid anywhere from 50 to $95 depending if I get comprehensive or just medical. Length of trip around 14 days and country of travel was the states.

$20 bucks get you roughly 10 days of basic medical coverage for non-member. Two weeks for around $25. Members get 10% off.

I haven't used them in a long time but if its still the same
HSBC has cheap single trip purchases.
RBC has a yearly one which has great coverage for a low price.

I normally buy it through a family friend (works at an insurance office).

I referred a friend and she bought travel insurance for a single trip (17 days to Asia). $5 million in coverage. Costed 20 odd dollars. It's done through Travel Underwriters.

i always use rbc because its convenient. you can always go to icbc autoplan to pick up travel insurance as well.

I went with td insurance last time cause it was convenient. Almost 30$ for four days in in the states. And bought bcaa insurance for my parents before to Asia for $20 ish for two weeks.

I use BCAA, use them for home insurance as well they've been really good.

I use BCAA as well, though my work health plan apparently also has travel insurance. Something you should check out. BCAA is pretty cheap, especially if you already use them for other forms of insurance. My trip down to Cannon Beach last year only cost me $25 for a couple weeks worth of coverage.

Insurance is generally more expensive if it covers the states. If you draw up a quote quickly on BCAA - you'll see that there are two categories - The entire world including the states, and the entire world excluding the states.

You also save 5% by doing up the quote online at BCAA! I sometimes just buy insurance the night before I leave. All you really need is the policy number, plus the phone number you call in case you actually need to use insurance.

I bought multi-trip insurance which covers me up for one year - up to a 15 day long trip - and it cost me $63, and that's before a 10% discount with a BCAA membership. a 30 day multi trip would cost $87 for the year. Much cheaper than a $150 per year membership.

Check your group first if you have any.

Pacific Blue Cross offers insurance as well. You can get a quote and purchase online.

A little late, but it was for 21 days to HK. There were no surcharges or anything like that for the extended period of time of my vacation.

I ended going with bcaa year coverage.
