dont agree by retiring him they have to retire jordana brewster too (so she's screwed) and also in a few years time they may bring the character our of retirement with a new actor (its what hollywood does)
his character should be killed off because walker is brian o connor and besides him dying would fit the films story since jason statham is killing them off in this next film
+ it would be harder to film him a goodbye scene with him retiring than it would with him dying in an explosion or something
ah well
i guess i am just in denial... i want to think that paul is still alive and well somewhere in the movieverse

I think it would all kind of fit together, which is kind of creepy when you think about it.... Technically Tokyo Drift is based after Fast 5, as Han was still alive. They already had a new "main" character in Tokyo Drift, and Vin Diesel showed up in the end saying he was old friends with Han. They could technically take the story from there without having Paul Walker involved...
Tokyo Drift is actually based after Fast 6, I think is what you mean. Han was still alive in the 6th installment, its when his girlfriend dies on that stretch of landing strip that seems to run from Vancouver to Langley
So in chronological order the films would be 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 3
"Investigators determined the cause of the fatal solo-vehicle collision was unsafe speed for the roadway conditions....."
What was really surprising was that the post-crash investigator noted that the tires on the car were nine years old!
F*** it, this must be said... Still cant believe hes gone. Life taken away too soon...
Funny how you can see how hes grown into his character, think it was ff5 when you can see his acting improved and maturity compared to ff1... Posted via RS Mobile
When actor and Fast & Furious franchise mainstay Paul Walker died in a car accident last November, the next installment, Fast and Furious 7, which was already in production and was due out July 11 of this year. After a pause while Universal Studios figured out how it was going to fill the gap, the screenwriter rewrote the script and filming resumed.
The New York Daily News reports that Walker's remaining scenes in the film will be captured with the use of four body doubles "for movement and as a base," with Walker's face and voice laid over that with CGI. The rewrite retires his character, FBI detective Brian O'Connor, instead of killing him off, and allows the film to pay tribute to one half of the unexpectedly appealing duo that has made F&F a two-billion-dollar franchise so far. The film is expected to be released on April 10, 2015.

Just saw a minute and 30 second trailer for some movie paul walker was in thats coming out next month, tripped me out.
This. Was watching Need for Speed, preview trailer for "Brick Mansions" or something like that. Did a double take when I saw Paul Walker... the hope you feel that maybe he didn't actually die, vs. the feel when you realize he's still dead
Was watching 2F2F today while waiting to pick someone up..
