This meet needs to be handled with care. Just imagine the Richmond RCMP hears about this big meet and gets a hard on, comes by and start giving out VI. Then the media will blow it out to be a F&F meet with street racing to pay tribute to Paul Walker.

yeah.. i hope everyone attending will not only be on their best behaviour, but speak out against those who will inevitably start doing stupid shit to impress the crowd. hopefully people will be respectful (since this is to honour a fallen idol)... but i still have my doubts with such a massive group.

That's a lot of cars seeing as how a lot of people will be going without confirming

Thats my worst fear, which is going to happen no doubt, for every 100 people that are confirmed there is another 100 who just sporadically show up...

Cops are most likely already aware of the event, if people don't act like assholes or start driving recklessly, we should be fine, the cops won't bother us.

I never go to lawnsdowne mall how is the parking there on the weekends.

I would assume its going to be full with people going to the mall for christmas shopping

Edit seems to be around 700 parking spots in between the 2 entrances on kwantlen street

It certainly will not fit 700 cars, But it does have a lot of parking. The skytrain is there so they kept a lot of stalls for park and ride and they should be empty on a saturday. But the lot is probably going to be a gongshow.

^ should be more worried on how to get the cars out of the parking lot at 1pm

No3rd and hazelbridge exits are going to be a clusterfuck. Also, there is no park and ride at lansdowne. All stalls for mall patrons only.

The outside circle of Lansdowne parking is usually empty until the afternoon. At least from my past experience

Its going to be a huge cluster fuck turning left onto the the East 1st on ramp, like the left turn signal is only about 45 seconds...

I'm going, I switched shifts last moment to make it out.

yeah.... 700+ cars is gonna be a gongshow..

its not even gonna be a cruise.... its gonna be a huge traffic jam

^Yeahhh... I feel like they should just change the route to Marine Drive, through UBC, to Spanish banks. Going into North Van will take hours.

But then again... Highway driving + Lions Gate Bridge is always fun

I posted a request to change the location because for this event I wouldn't want anyone to have to just go home because of lack of space. I as a few have, took the day off work to be at this meet.

The lot facing Kwantlen should be the best area of the parking lot to hold this event. It's usually the most empty even when the mall is busy. But 700+ cars!! Yikes!! this is going to be interesting.

central richmond on a weekend is like the worst location to have a meet, havent even put into account that amount of cars

Totally gonna take the Skytrain to this meet.

^Speaking of Skytrain, I think if we can't find someone to take a bird's view picture of the meet, the Skytrain platform will probably be the next best place.
