Rockstar and their draconian DRM bullshit. Haven't they learned their lesson from GTA III (where the DRM was so fucking bad that they were actually recommending to use the cracked version by Razor1911 on their forums if people who purchased it were having problems). Then, of course, the Games for Windows Live garbage of GTA IV. Fuck man, I just want to play offline, why the fuck do I need to authenticate every fucking time through two different fucking servers to play? And, of course, Rockstar's been having issues with their servers all day.

I pre-ordered Civ VI, so I’ve had it for a while. Could never get into it over Civ V (which I have thousands of hours on). Mind you, any Civ game really requires the expansions to be better than the previous iteration (with all the expansions) and I’m sure VI is no different.

Yeah the expansions really "complete" the game. Going from V + expansions to vanilla VI is like going backwards a step, aside from a few changes. But now it's a totally new game worth being called a sequel.

^^^ More important is that you can get a $10 coupon which is applied to any game over $14.99 (and it can be used twice). I was able to get Tetris Effect for like $6 and Control is $17 with it.
I was hoping to pick up Assassin's Creed Origins, but it's $12, too cheap for the coupon, too expensive to buy and maybe not play  | |
