recommendation for contractor needed to replace shower enclosure

about a year back i was asking about bath fitter and only [edit]gridlock answered back (the answer was "no").

my parents have a tiled shower enclosure at their home that is not in good shape. it leaks and the tiles are coming off the walls. everything needs to be redone.

can someone here direct me to a contractor that can do good work for a good price? i'm scared of referring them to someone overpriced with crap work.

thanks in advance...

My neighbour used amazo contracting to redo part of his basement and was happy with the work and price.

yes that is where i first heard of them. i tried to look for reviews online but despite the a+ rating with the BBB, i read a lot of complaints about customer service with the local bath fitters franchise.

and people in the trade like gridlock emphasized the fact that covering up a prexisting problem is not a solution, so i have to focus on a contractor that can re/re instead.

i just wanted to publicly say thanks to those who PM'd me with referrals

my dad ended up contacting steve seaborn/the little contractor on cknw980. he's coming later in the week to take a look, and then we will see what my dad decides.

Tell your dad to get multiple quotes and see if you like the contractor.
