On the opposite end of the spectrum. Just recently came back from my first transpac trip on United in economy. It really was as warned: hell on earth. That seat pitch is ludicrous for anyone over 4 feet tall.

Just a question, I have someone who is flying in Tango, S can I use my e-upgrade credits to upgrade them on their short-haul? (YVR to YYC)

(Edit: read that booking class S is not eligible for e-upgrades anymore...Is there any way to upgrade my ticket to another booking class and then use the e-upgrades?)

Yes... phone AC, pay the difference to change to a flex ticket. If you are not a super elite, you dont have the ability to use your e-upgrades on anybody else unless you are flying with them though.

Edit - uhh, it's an 80 minute flight from Vancouver to Calgary on an E90... that's not even worth phoning AC for...

Just go to the AC website... price a tango ticket and a flex, that is the MINIMUM fare differential but it will likely be more as the person's fare bucket may be lower than the tango fare now being displayed.

Not sure if posted yet, but flew on the new cabin design on AC's 777 from YYZ to YVR.

No more weird aspect ratio movies, all content is HD too.

Hate the placement of this. I can't rest my arm without hitting a button.

Anybody know what the middle connector is for?

There is currently a bug on delta.com site, you can buy tickets from YVR or YYC to anywhere in Asia for less than 500$. Below are prices from YYC, YVR has equally as cheap or even cheaper. HURRY

Booked two tickets, YVR-ICN during Remembrance Day and YVR-NRT during Easter 2015. Will figure out which to keep.

ICN is still alive, HKG is dying, NRT is $200 more expensive now.

Most of it is gone now though. Either they fixed it, or they sold out.

I was so tempted. But I just booked the DL HKG $650 deal from a few weeks ago and knew I wouldn't be able to take additional time off work.

flying from bangkok to paris in july round trip....so far the cheapest fares are:

Jet Airways $865 16 hours there 15 hours back through mumbai
Qatar $986 15 hours there 22 hours back (could do same time back but price goes up to $1150) flying through Doha

thoughts on either airline.....trying to do this as cheap as possible obviously and there's two of us so i know saying it's only an extra $175ish for the faster qatar return that's actually double for us

thanks

I flew Jet Airways from YYZ - LHR - BOM a few years back, service and planes were great. And I believe Eithad now has a stake in Jet airways so you know the service will be top notch. If you want to get their quicker than pay the extra, if not than you can't go wrong with Jet airways.

2day until my trip to the old crappy AA J.

But I guess for a difference of 20% premium comparing to the cheapest Y, I'd gladly take it.

Anyone has any tip to make it more comfortable since it is an angled-flat seat?
