On a separate topic, with so many frequent flyers here, we should start an "air stewardess" thread... But don't expect much contribution from me, I fly mostly AC/UA and all I see are grandmas... :fuckthatshit: |

AC Jazz actually has some fairly attractive young stewardesses, I see them on YVR-YXS or the reverse. |
Air Asia :fullofwin: |

AC mainline is the worst, we are not joking when we say the average age is 50. However, AC Rouge I have flown twice now and both times had a great selection of hot younger women... |

heading back over to bangkok in a couple weeks and we're trying to figure out the best of the cheapest....ie china air, air china, EVA, Philippines air etc etc don't want garbage service but we will be back of the bus we flew over cathay last time and it was great but that was on points and they're all gone now |

EVA is good, never flew China Airlines so can't comment on that but they should be fine too. You left your booking really late if you're flying in a couple of weeks, unless this is a last-minute trip. When are you flying? JAL has some deals flying around the end of April, I love them in Economy. Great service, decent food and you get to fly on the 787! ANA is pretty close on price too, another great airline. If you can, fly with them. Narita is a terrific airport too, love the ramen shops and the Kit Kat selection there. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a8/...psa2585f01.png Quote:

Eva definitely gets high marks, I have flown with them before, TPAC in economy sucks no matter how you slice it but I found them to work very hard to make your time pleasant. |
Anyone have much experience with Charles degaule? CDG? Me and my GF will be flying in to Paris from Pearson landing at 815, we then have to catch the 1215 TGV out of the airport station to the south of France Anyone have experience with the train station within the terminal? Hard to find, etc? Posted via RS Mobile |
I havent been there personally but I know CDG has a reputation of being a bit of an unpleasant airport to connect through. With that said, pretty much every European city integrates rail so heavily that I can't see it being that hard to find your way to the train station. Hopefully customs doesn't take too long, but I don't think you should have a problem. When will you be there? I will be taking the train to the south of France in September to meet some friends on the tail end of my summer trip. Cheers |
May 9th were heading over Air Canada from YVR to Pearson then AC777 from Pearson to CDG We were going to do an easy jet or Ryan air etc from Paris to Nice but the schedules are so erratic that it was quicker to take the TGV at noon For your TGV trip make sure you book with captainetrain, it's a great site for booking Posted via RS Mobile |
Yeah, I actually really prefer the trains in Europe - the distances are so close that the train is a nice relaxed option - no security, nonsense, etc. I am going to be taking the train from Frankfurt to Aix en Provence and then back to Paris where I hop on a plane again. |
Anyone redeeming flights on AC using AP? I have a bunch of lounge passes that only work for those flights and since I'll never redeem for AC, they're useless to me. Free to whoever wants them. |
AP? |

That would be awesome :) How many do you have? Where do you get them from? I thought they usually only come with Altitude renewals? |
Which is the best airline to fly to Australia from Vancouver? I don't think there's many direct flight airlines? |

Are the lounge passes different? The one's that I have received in the past did not specify that they must be Aeroplan redemption ticket's but just need to be an AC flight... How do they even check if your flight is booked from Aeroplan with just the boarding pass? |
I booked my AC flights through avion If those passes will work for me I'll grab one if possible? Posted via RS Mobile |
