Anyone know of any MR2 shops or backyard mechanics in Vancouver? BCMR2 forums seems to be dwindling with member's, pretty quiet over there these days, any help would be appreciated!
no way, just had something like 15 people at the last monthly meet. most have just gone on the fb group. flying pistons in surrey deals with 3s-gte's and kakucaekz's car has been taken apart and put together (multiple times) by a great shop. pm him.
as for toyota's s motors, i'd can give some insight on them and their problems. shoot me a pm
Give Derek and his brother a call at DC Motorworks on Clark Drive. He has worked on a few MR2s, including some RS members. Good, honest people and labour rate is reasonable.

The Speed Syndicate has done some work for me in the past and they have been excellent. Most locals try some DIY. There's still a good decent group here in town that can provide a lot of information and insight. There's the BCMR2 forum and the BCMR2 Facebook page.
Someone on here recently got their MR2 engine completely rebuilt, I can't remember who though. KO Racing is also just south of the border but the exchange rate is going to make them expensive.
