i dont get why some people like to have fucking loud ass stereo systems in their cars, i mean, realistically you're never gonna be using it to the fullest potential and if you are everybody on the other end of the block can hear your shit music blasting out.

wells, high hp cars are generally the more high end shiz, and it's a lot of just companies 1 upping each other, and depending on where you live you could technically take it to a track and attempt it to use it to the fullest potential depending on how good you are.

Being in the industry myself, I think I can speak for most people that upgrade their stereos when I say the only time I ever really get to enjoy loud sound system is in my car or at the club/concert. Mind you I'm more of an SQ guy, so I listen to a lot of different types of music (jazz, classical, rock, etc). I have a killer setup at home, but being at home you really can't get that same sound because the rooms much bigger and the damn noise complaints. There's times you want to kick back and relax to soft music and there's days you want to lose your hearing and go balls to the wall.

And adding aftermarket stereo doesn't always mean you need 10 subwoofers and huge boxes that take up space.

also, not sure if it was clear or not, i understand a good stereo system in your house or car w/e, i dont get the massive amount of subs in your car that disintegrates your car cus of all the "slammen bass." i like a good amount of bass my self but some of these guy's levels is just ridonkulous :pokerface:

I don't love to
A) feel my trunk rattling because of the shitty mazda precidia behind me blasting bass tester cds,
B) not hear my own music
C) not hear sirens
D) see vibrating mirrors

There are good sound systems and there are stupid sound systems, and those who roll around with their music turned up to 10000 look like cunts.
