I told the officer that they're DRL from factory (which they are) and he didn't buy it so he just nailed me for having yellow fogs lol

Lots of cars come from the factory with fog DRLS. Didnt know yellow fogs were illegal too.

All new infiniti models have DTRL's as fog lights.

M37/ex37/fx37/G37 etc.

I've had an officer in Surrey tell me that my yellow fogs are a 'chargeable offense', but didn't do anything about it. Guess he was off duty or something. Such BS on this call, I (and lots of other people I know) have yellow fog lights and have never been dinged.

anything yellow on the front of the car is illegal. same for blue.

I was running my normal non-yellow foglights a while back at night and the roadcheck officer told me unless it's foggy I shouldn't use foglights at all. pretty sure yellow lights are illegal though.

Pretty sure yellow is classified as amber, and should be legal...

Yup I've been running with yellow tinted fogs since summer with no hassles. Guess cop wasn't having a good day.

I was just recently thinking I want to change something around on my car. Was about to swap my 6000k headlights out for 5000k and my 6000k fogs out for 3000k.

Let us know what happens when you go in to talk to them. I won't be touching my setup until then.

So I removed the tint and went to Canadian tire. The guy looked at my notice and order and told me to go VPD because my fogs are DRL from factory lol.

Currently at VPD awaiting the fate of my car

Also got rid of my yellow tinted fog lights to attract less attention from the cops but you can spot a yellow car from a mile away LOL.
