I'm sorry OP, but who the hell goes to Shine Auto Wash on Terminal? I went there once, and it left bird shit and dirt on my car, and scratches from the brushes that definitely weren't there before.

RevScene peeps, if I could recommend a local car wash: Ultrashine Car Wash at Main and 2nd. I've been going there for a couple years, the guys are super friendly, full hand wash and vaccum and wipe down your interior as well.
All for $20 plus tax!
Every time I'm in there it's mainly luxury cars too. I even saw a RR Phantom in there getting detailed.
Check em out

My favorite touchless wash is on marine drive at the husky gas station before you get onto the arthur lang. It has never missed a spot on any of my cars
FYI,... taken from their FB site: (I think it might def be worth checking out but when the heck is this gonna open for business?)
Speedwash will use a special scratch resistant foam to wash your car . This is the same material used at automobile manufacturers like Mercedes Benz , BMW, FORD etc . This material not only cleans the car but also buffs it giving it that new car finish . You'll never have to worry about scratches at speedwash .

These guys are great. Super nice, always remember me/my car and want to shoot the shit about cars. The interior is always simply immaculate when I leave. I'll be going to them for a good thorough spring detail when the time comes.

Raj is a pretty cool guy, self made. I used to deal with him a lot back in my motorcycle dealership days.
if self made is getting money from big time developer daddy to open up a car wash then ya, self made. after looking at his instagram the guy just screams uber douche lol.
but jokes on me because i've made him money by going to his car wash.
^ I was going to say - his dad was extremely successful.
As for the quality of wash, it will be interesting to see whether this foam will truly avoid scratches.
For those praising hand-wash places, most places I have seen re-use buckets of water and dirty rags/mitts on all the cars coming through. They are absolutely inducing swirls.
If you truly want it done right I would suggest doing it yourself as the time & care it takes to conduct a proper wash is not something most volume car-washes can afford to do.
in general have those auto carwashes at gas stations (touchless) been researched over a few year period to see what affect it would have on a cars paint?
