Spoiler!
What did you drive when you were a student? Mom's good old Toyota Corolla, perhaps? Or a sensible Honda Civic? Or maybe you relied on the delight that is public transport?
Well, things are a bit different at the American University of Dubai. There, everyone has a Range Rover, and you’re nobody if your motor isn’t packing at least 300 hp.
A Rolls-Royce Ghost will set you back around $295k — or, around 18 new Mazda3s.
These rich students won’t be worried by the 8.8 km/litre the 6.6-litre V12 engine in the Ghost returns.
Even for the AMG version, a Mercedes-Benz CLS is worth a mere $217k.
How do you make your 'cheap' Mercedes-Benz stand out in a car park of exotica? By putting a UAE flag on the hood, of course.
These kids want to look tough — so they’ve let their daddies buy them matching Dodge SRTs.
They’re comparatively cheap, too, with prices in the U.S. starting at around $40,000 for the Dodge Challenger SRT. I wouldn’t tell them that, however, they’ll probably steal your pocket money.
They love their European supercars at the American University of Dubai — and this is the first of a number of Audi R8s.
We dare you to tell the driver that it looks like an Audi TT.
Oh look, another Audi R8. The driver of this one is so important they don’t need to bother parking properly.
And look at those yellow brake calipers…
Size doesn’t matter says the driver of this Ford F150 pick-up truck.
Although we're not sure how much off-roading they do between going to classes and home to their parent's house
Nothing proves that money doesn’t buy taste more than a 4.8-litre Porsche Panamera.
We’re sure the four doors will be great for lugging students around, but judging by the paint stripper on the side of this one its driver has clearly upset someone.
For times when twin exhausts just aren’t enough: this Ferrari 458 Italia is a hearty laugh at Canadian students struggling with tuition fees.
The driver of this one is another who can’t be bothered to park properly.
It’s not often that nearly $130,000-worth of BMW M6 gets shown up... but hang on? What’s that lurking in the background? It’s over $260,000 worth of bright orange Lamborghini Aventador.
Edit: Ok on second thought, the comments are pretty amateur...

Those cars are nothing special compared to what parks at their malls and hotels. and honestly, people are surprised at the exotics and expensive cars showing up at a school in Dubai? meh.
