Interested at the Z06, so I went to the Richmond dealer to check out the interior of the Stingray.. Sales are so unhelpful, they have one in the show room but refused to unlock the doors for me to take a look inside. He keep gave me bs about how great the Corvette is and how powerful they are.

I still think what they did was BS.

What kind of dealership would lock the door to keep customers out?
It's NOT a Veyron, Zonda or P1.
Corvette is not in class of it's own.

People who are looking to buy a Corvette would usually check out their competitions like Viper, GT-R, 911, Evora, etc.

Sorry buds but there is the Z06 and also the Z07. The Z07 is an option track pack. The one you see in all these pictures are Z07's the Z06 won't have the same front splitter, brakes, etc...

And no this is not something new. They had a Z07 option package in 2013 also. This was called the CARBON edition Z06 if you ordered one on the option list this car was marked under as 'Z07'

Chevy stepping there game up. I would drive one of these in white. Between a auto gtr and 6 speed stingray I'd go corvette. Ever since the zr1 Chevy starting to compete with the big boys. Car is definitely bang for the buck bargain vs exotics

When my T88 Supra was putting 520 rwhp down to the wheels on a conservative street tune I thought it was so fucking fast that nobody should drive a car like that(except me, duh)

Now 520 rwhp is like... kind of average for a non-exotic sportscar?!

I've seen a few C7s on the road...I gotta say though, it still does have this cheap feel to it.

The road presence is nowhere near Ferrari or GT-R.

It still does look like a C6 with some tweak but that's it.

I dunno man, the c6 is gorgeous, the c7 is such a try hard retro post modern mess like the new camaros looked back when they came out a few years ago before they figured out some styling tweaks to make them work. I think it will need some time before it comes into its own. This car is just rolling art. So sleek.

^ I think C6 is quite nice with widebody...I was talking about base model.

I'm sure wide bodied C7 (Z06?) will be nice too. There's a blue C7 that I like too.

Anyways, generally speaking I think Corvettes lack this wow factor. Unless it's modded nicely, I don't think they stand out much. Porsche 911 has same problem too.

If you see Ferrari or Lamborghini, well I know they're in different price range, however if you look at GT-R or Viper they have much better road presence.

The C7 Z06 has already been posted in this thread and it's definitely better looking than the standard C7...

While I agree its better looking than standard, it doesn't compare to the C6, but thats just my opinion. The C6 looks much more like an, ummmmm, car, than a decepticon for lack of a better description.
