If your vehicle is as listed in your signature I would recommend H&A in Langley.

bcrdukes 01-26-2014 02:07 PM

Is this for your GS-R?

If so, I recall your car being completely stock and was very admirable at that.

While not it's not an air cooled Porsche, your GS-R is still a rare gem and could fetch a nice dollar value in the even you want to sell it in the future, especially when stock. :)

MonkeyNutz does a lot of work on Nissan/infiniti cars.

But if it is for a Q50 then the dealer is probably your best bet seeing as how the car is brand new and obviously still under warranty...

not quite stock anymore, although sometimes i wish it was. Its pretty much got every bolt on there is for the car except a test pipe cause im to lazy to change it for aircare hah
Not sure if I could sell the car its got sentimental value, although the cash would be nice towards the next car I plan getting

also anyone done tuning at garage 5 or drive hard?

Suprarz666 01-26-2014 03:12 PM

give bill a call at independent speed.

What are you looking to get done?

Seeing as this thread is already hijacked a bunch of times, anyone know of a dedicated Mustang shop? I tried contacting a couple sponsors about re-gearing a ford 8.8" rear end, and nobody ever responded to PM's/emails.

jing 01-26-2014 04:15 PM

^ Brown Bros Racing? However, I've seen cars pulling in and out of their shop with the driver going WOT down Kent . Not sure if their employees or the owners driving like a douche

<----long time GarageFive client, they get pretty much all my business. Built and tuned my 2.0L B18C5 both street tune for break-in and dyno for power. Multiple previous tunes during bolt-on phases. All using Hondata. Street tuning with COBB Accessport as well. Not sure their knowledge of Crome though. A quick email or phone call would answer that.

Not sure if DriveHard does any tuning. I believe they sold their dyno.

Yeah that scares the hell out of me... Worst part is i bet you they just start it up and go WOT, as in the car is probably completely cold...

Meh, if a shop is "above" answering emails/PM's, or they just don't bother because it's a "waste of time" or "if a customer is serious they will call" i don't want to deal with that shop...

westopher 01-26-2014 05:14 PM

I've had nothing but the best customer service from speed syndicate.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Parm takes customers cars for a rip and absolutely beats the shittttt out of them. My buddy had his camaros engine rebuilt there and they forgot to put in coolant after. He has also noticed multiple parts on the car replaced without parm saying anything such as the rad (noticed a different cap further investigation showed rad, hoses and other miscellaneous replaced)

Not to mention my firebird, what a fucking mess they made that car.

I recommend evolution performance or bill at independant speed.

Racing Greed in Coquitlam is the only place I would ever take any of my cars!

Give them a call, they're awesome and they can handle nearly anything you throw at them!

Altoids94 01-26-2014 06:46 PM

+1 for Racing Greed

meme405 01-26-2014 07:29 PM

This is just turning into every other shop thread, so to re-cap. All the sponsors of the forum are solid as well as a few other shops. List (in no particular order):

-Racing Greed
-Speed Syndicate
-Independent Speed
-Garage 5
-Drivehard
-Monkey Nutz

All of these shops have had some poor sap come on here and rag on them, but more or less have really positive reviews. No shop is perfect, especially with how some of our cars are pieced together and our demands, but for the most part all the shops listed above are great. Safe to say if you have a bad experience or something goes wrong they will do their best to fix said situation.

Cillu 01-27-2014 12:19 AM

Nice going OP. I was eventually going to make one of these threads too and ask about my own GS-R! Update us on which one you eventually go to.

Lol, we don't beat the shit out of anyone's car, except my own on the track. Who is your buddy with the camaro? We have never replaced any parts without informing the customer first. It's easier to tell the customer to tow it out and have it repaired if he doesn't want it done. I'd like to know who you are, and what we did with your firebird. Mention your name here and maybe I can shed some light into what actually happened. The camaro in question sounds like the one that was brought to our shop with a blown power steering cooler that was swelling all the hoses. I'll have a talk with him soon and ask him who your are.
