I still say if you have good extra cirriculars, or present yourself in a way that makes you stand out from the average "go to school get good grades and only study kinda kid" (is that a thing?) then you should get in. I believe beedie wants people who are broad and have more to them than simply the ability to memorize and study but to also be an experienced, broadened critical thinker. Heck I got in with my IB score of 25, 24's considered a pass

Go to SFU not because you just want a degree in business, you need to want more than that to make it worth it. Being a BBA doesn't mean anything much nowadays. Business degree is overrated anyways, unless you want to continue and do your designations such as CPA, CFA, etc.

FYI, I'm a BBA graduate from SFU so I know what I am talking about.

Totally agree that BBA students are a dime a dozen now a days. I think the BUS degree can be worth it because of the opportunities presented to you just by being in the program. If you really put yourself out there, you can get some amazing experience, and finding a job after school becomes very easy. That being said, it's never a guarantee.

I'm doing a BA Economics with a BBA Minor,

Altho a BA Econ requires a 2.6CGPA to enter, which is quite hard considering Econ 201 (formerly 301) is hell.
