| Best fluorescent lights for a large area? (120V)
Looking to light up my studio for photography and I need some bright lights to reflect off my ceiling!
Any advice for maximum brightness per dollar would be greatly appreciated!

Flourescent lights for a photo studio?
Are you trying to do a proper photography lighting set up or just basic lighting for when the photo lights are off?

^Lomac is right. I'm not sure you want fluorescent lights in your photo studio for studio work. The colour cast is not the most flattering.

Yeah I need basic lights for when everything else is off. I have pro lights for the photography but it's just that when those lights are off my place is too dark! |

Is the studio in your apartment and, if so, does it still have that rough warehouse style design or have you covered it all over? While not necessarily the best bang for the buck, if you still have most everything uncovered, go for something with an industrial/garage style. Otherwise just go for whatever Home Depot has on sale... they usually have 3-4' Lithonia 1-4 tube set ups for pretty cheap.

Rough style, I have these beams that sit about 12 feet up and are 8" wide... planning on mounting the lights on top of them, mostly hidden, and having the light reflect off the ceiling!
