So for those of you that haven't seen or watched it, it's a political drama/series from netflix. Absolutely mind blowing in terms of writing and characters.
This isn't a normal show with normal times. Please avoid spoilers indefinitely. I would give it a reasonable (1-2 months) before discussing the series in its entirety. I don't think its too much to ask to use spoiler tags for awhile.
That being said, if you read the House of Cards thread without watching the show first, well, that's your own fault.
I still don't see how I spoiled anything, as I didn't state anything in particular. Anyways, what a fantastic season. Blew through it way too fast. Can't wait for 3!

Just because I posted after you doesn't mean my post is about you.
The Meechum thing surprised me too. I mean, it really shouldn't...pretty much everyone in this show has to have some sort of weird sex thing. That and there were some gay/bisexual hints from Frank in season 1. I was wondering what the president's was. He was really worried about SOMETHING getting out from the therapist.
I think the threesome for Frank and Claire was just another way to display their pure pragmatism. It was strictly a thing for pleasure and taken to the extreme, pleasure seeking transcends gender. They mentioned that they couldn't risk reaching out to someone else. Meechum was someone they both trusted completely so it made sense in that way.
But LOL poor Doug... I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to kill her either.
