Help: Question about getting started in the business field How?What?

Early 20's Just finished my highschool education and I'd like to start a career in business.

I'm planning to go to Langara or BCIT to start courses. I want to know from others out there in this city what you did to make it into the business industry? And where should I start? There are plenty of courses for business but are there any that you should particularly head into first? Any advice/truths about work/school (BCIT/Langara) would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
