New vape laws coming into effect Sept 15 for BC. Max 20 milligrams of nicotine per millilitre, so no 5%, 3%, for Juul, Logic, etc. Flavors can only be sold at 19+ stores. So only tobacco flavor available at gas stations. Every store that sells vaping products must register with the government and send a list of all products they are selling including the name of the manufacturers and a list of all ingredients for each type. Applications will take 6 weeks. So any stores that have not sent there applications in yet will not be able to sell on the 15th of Sept. All products must be in plain packaging. The companies I deal with have no idea what the packaging should be and have not started making products in plain packaging. I believe manufacturers had to stop selling any products that are not in plain packaging by the first but stores can still sell until the 15th. We can't get any more Juul or logic products. Might be a good idea to stock up on juice. |
FYI since September 15 now in BC 60 ml juice bottles: No longer available. Nicotine over 20mg: No longer available. Nicotine Free Eliquid: Not only no longer available, but straight up ILLEGAL. Tank Capacity: 2ml max (includes pod systems) |
