| L.A. Boutique Hotels
Can anyone recommend some good boutique hotels to stay at while in L.A. for 2 nights. I prefer something relatively close to the main dining and night life areas.

Thompson hotel in BH is nice boutique hotel.
Only issue I found was the rooms are a bit cold maybe because of the hardwood floors and dark decor but overall I enjoyed it. They also have one of the best rooftop pools in LA, I believe it was rated number 1 last year. Only guests and vips with special membership cards are allowed up and there's always some event going on the weekends with tons of eye candy. Plus location is great, a couple blocks from Rodeo drive and you're next door to the BH Ferrari dealership.
If you want to be right in center of the nightlife than check out Hollywood Roosevelt which is also owned by Thompson hotels and Chateau Marmont. Both are on Sunset.

SLS and Roosevelt were on my list. Anyone know about a place called The Mondrian?
