To be fair, all if not most of the ultra high-performance tires with amazing grip also suck in the rain. Some cars will also experience worsened fuel economy due to extra grippy tires w/ low rolling resistance. Which is why most people just buy cheaper all-season tires as they, like someone else mentioned, drive conservatively 90% of the time. Am I saying that people should all just buy fake ass tires? No, but for the average person, low-to-mid-end tires fit their driving needs. There's a reason that not every single econobox comes shod with RE11's
