Awesome episode and love the fact that Clarkson doesn't have to answer to the PC police for his banter.

So... same question. Is this available on Prime Canada accounts or only US at the moment?

just tried logging into amazon.com with my amazon.ca prime account, it shows a tab to try prime instead of a prime tab, so no canadian prime cannot access american prime video

to answer the question, u need an amazon.com account with american prime to watch

maxx 11-19-2016 12:20 AM

Canada will be available in December.

best show i've ever seen, apart from old top gear

How I watched the first episode:
1) Log on to amazon.co.uk
2) Signed in with my amazon.com credentials
3) Started trial amazon prime
4) Searched for Grand Tour
5) Followed the links, and hit play

Harvey Specter 11-19-2016 09:20 AM

You can sign up on amazon.com, put in a bogus US address and use your Canadian CC and it'll work.

vexor 11-19-2016 09:35 AM

It's exactly the same as the old Top Gear but with better videography and they can cuss now (to a point). I like it.

:D

StylinRed 11-20-2016 03:24 AM

Oh is it out? Gotta watch it I've got US amazon Prime

First ep seemed a little too rehearsed. A few bits fell flat and the boys are a little rusty. New driver seems so scripted. They just made him a stereotype. And I miss the real music...

But still, solid ep, can't go wrong with the hybrid hypercar trinity. Crazy the P1 came last.... Jennifer.

for the laferrari/918/p1 lap times, did they mention which tire they chose to use for all three cars?

also what was the deal about the laferrari not be road legal? was it a private car? and if not, what not use a manufacturer's license plate?

My guess it was a car still owned by Ferrari. It's a road legal vehicle, but because it wasn't registered by a private owner or dealership, it's not allowed on the road. As soon as it's registered by someone (even Ferrari themselves) it becomes a "used," and a multi-owner vehicle is often seen as a downside for Ferrari ownership.

Or, it's just Ferrari being Ferrari and throwing their usual asinine reasoning behind things again.

underscore 11-20-2016 01:29 PM

I believe they said all 3 cars had the same tires, but that those aren't as good as the ones the McLaren comes with. The Ferrari supposedly wasn't registered yet because once it's registered in a country they have to pay the tax on it. Although knowing Ferrari they were probably just being colossal douchenozzles as per usual.

I just about lost it when Hammond said: "Is it possible to shit yourself to death?"

sonick 11-26-2016 09:52 AM

Ya second one was so so with the whole military thing, too much with the staged scenes and scripted jokes.

twitchyzero 11-26-2016 02:54 PM

yeah some bits were funny but rest felt forced even if i like edge of tomorrow
