Can't wait to watch it tonight. If it disappoints, I will be upset with thumper. LOL.

May's piece on the GT40 was good. Actually learned a few things about that rivalry that I didn't know before. It was also a good counterbalance to Hamster and Clarkson's hoonfest earlier in the episode.

Boring episode this week. Pissed off that he ruined a perfectly nice SL and the phone battery charging thing was fucking dumb. The NSX bit was alright though.

Episode 1 of Season 24 is out. It was actually pretty good. Most of the Chris Evan's format is gone and replaced with what the old trio did. The in studio portions were a little rough and I feel certain aspects still need to be changed, but the FXXK review and Kazakhstan road trip were entertaining. You can see the chemistry starting to build between the remaining presenters in that latter film. The fact that very little of the hijinks that occurred seemed staged was a refreshing change, especially considering the Grand Tour's fairly obvious attempts at artificially creating them. Oh, and seeing Chris Harris driving that Ferrari was awesome.
I watched last season of Top Gear.
I've seen neither TGT nor this newest episode of TG.
Unexpectedly, I find myself looking forward to watching TG more.

Matt LeBlanc is definitely better at reading scripts than he is at ad lib... and Rory needs to stop laughing at everything. Other than that, this Top Gear track is way better than the Grand Tour.
Now that Chris Evans is out this show is very watchable again, I think I enjoyed that episode as much if not more than anything the grand tour put out.

I want to preface this by saying this has nothing to do with Rory's appearance in any sort of way. Every time I heard his laugh in the last episode, it sounded like a chimpanzee laughing.
