BBC could be sued for £1M over Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear 'racism' | Mail Online

Is this real life? Didn't even know slope was a racist remark. Stuff people sue for these days. Not even sure why she is offended. Her eyes aren't even "sloped", given that that's what the word is referencing.

On a side note, when is the show coming back? Or was it only 7 episodes this season?

IIRC I had no idea it was a racist remark either, I just assumed he was talking about how crooked the bridge was when he said it.

I dunno about any of you guys but that top gear special was pretty boring to watch lol, never thought I'd ever say that about top gear.

Didn't they poke fun at themselves for been white in the same series? I guess a white person should sue them as well and I'll admit there's a lot of racial stereotyping on TG but it makes this show what it is.

I was watching some older top gear and I saw this:

Now some might ask why this particular clip is so shocking, well you might notice right at the beginning JAMES MAY RUNS!

This is a sharp contrast to his more recent attitude of refusing to rush.

According to Clarkson, no new Top Gear until January but they might air 13 episodes.

Might be bullshit.

Andy, the producer, has been hinting that during a couple newspaper articles as well. Though nothing is confirmed, it unfortunately sounds legit. My guess is the last controversy forced them to suspend showing new episodes until later. That, or the World Cup.
