maybe they'll realize there is a lot more going on behind the scenes, even well before the meet itself, to keep the numbers we get under control.
that being said, we need as many of the regular members to help out as we can get, because spanish banks is a big area to cover, and we fill it pretty much end to end.
we need people to help direct traffic and help keep an eye out for these kind of people.
if you want to help out with keeping everything under control, head over to the volunteer forum and let us know. the more people we get helping, the easier it is to prevent this kind of behavior.
edit: what's the point of deleting your facebook stuff...once posted it's very simple for law enforcement to see everything again should they wish to pursue incriminating evidence

According to Lorenzo's private FB it's down for good:

I never knew that hosting one event could have had this much shit happen in one day. I made a mistake to ask someone to do a burnout which resulted in a lot of other things. People, like myself, are responsible for their own actions, something that some of these goofs commenting don't understand. Maybe instead of yapping off they should try hosting events and manage hundreds of people. Today was a complete mistake and I'm not down to do it again. I'm sorry to say, yet some people might think I'm taking it to far, but I've shut it down. The West Coast Car Events page will be deleted at midnight.
The lead event organizer admits to asking for burnouts in a crowded parking public parking lot (Monkey see, Monkey do. Comes to mind). It blows my mind that he thinks it's OK to just apologize and promise it won't happen at future events.
This dude should never create/host/plan/volunteer at a public event in an uncontrolled environment EVER again.
The WCCE organizer is my one of my long time buddies little cousin. He's a complete asscrack, and should not host events... Considering that he's also only seventeen.
I've never met this guy but can I assume he is under the age of 20?
Seems like he wanted attention so started hosting these "events"
I've been acquaintances with him for ~2 years. Seems like a good kid and has grown up A LOT since i first met him. That being said today proves he is still just 18 *edit* 17 and has a lot to learn. Hopefully today will be a great teaching tool. Posted via RS Mobile

I came in from the west and saw someone doing a burnout so decided to park away from the entire meet... not trying to have my 12k paint job destroyed by some dude in a ram 1500 trying to flex his muscles while he kicks rocks at the cars behind him...
with that being said.. im in WCCE`s corner... i dont condone them encouraging the m5 to do a burnout (if they did, i dont know the whole story)
however i do appreciate the fact that someone organised a big meet... we really need more meets to chill out and check out each others cars without someone causing a scene.. (RS and thursdays at byrne aside)
ive been to cars and coffee down in socal and u get cars like tt gallardos, big single supras (even some showing up in full drag set ups with slicks on the back), and everything in between and nobody flexes any muscle in the parking lot... why cant we behave like that here
tx2k14 is happening as i type this and even in their meets in parking lots they save it for the highway.

because we can't have nice things, and we aren't socal.
the scene is just different here.
i didnt attend the meet, but from what i saw on the posts; alot of people causing trouble weren't what i would consider car enthusiasts. they are random cars doing burnouts.
i think the problem with this meet was that lorenzo was trying so hard to have literally anyone that would come to the meet, come out.
they basically renamed the paul walker meet 'event' into the spring meet so you already have your 1000+ subscribed people notified.
the paul walker meet wasn't really an enthusiast only meet. a lot of people that aren't even in the scene came out to pay respect to paul walker, many of which are retards who watched too much fast and furious and took it way too seriously. hence, there were more idiots than usual at the meet that took place last afternoon.
