I went to the Rev scene meet last year, and the summer one at the auction lot the year before that. Way more organized and controlled environment. A few jackasses here and there but you're right, you definitely felt the police presence at the Spring Meet and could tell the general sense of order and behavior followed suit. I appreciate how much work they must put in to accomplish this, and conversely it must be frustrating as fuck to see events like this making that more and more difficult.

Wonder if anyone got dashcam footage of the crashes. Would be interesting to watch what actually happened.

I feel really bad for the owner of the Mercedes. You can see how much he loves his car in the video @ 0:18 sec when hes trying to protect his mercedes with an umbrella from the burnout.
With all these immature retards, not only are they setting all of vancouver's car club a bad example but also throwing VDP's trust away of our future meets which leads to more strict rules with VI's and tight supervision.

Also RS has proven that organizers do have a lot of control over what type of behavior is demonstrated at the meets. Unfortunately in this scenario some of the hooning behavior comes from direct friends of the organizers, and instead of putting an end to it they simply laugh a long like a bunch of clowns.

This meet was a goddamn disaster, and they are damn lucky nobody was seriously injured. I really hope this is just taking the the enthusiast community right back to square one in terms of public opinion on us. I mean the work that has been put into repairing PR for the community both by RS and a lot of other outside sources was seriously working. In a lot of cases the media was on our side, they went right a long with our story that hooning and just generally psychotic driving was not something we advocate. After this showing though nobody is going to believe us.

The number of outsiders and non-enthusiasts who witnessed that shitshow at the banks were most definitely not impressed.

This meet was a joke and is just another spit on Vancouver as being a 'no fun city'.

Unfortunately RS doesn't have a test to tell if you are a complete idiot before you are allowed to sign up. I do have to say though RS meets in my experience everyone pitches in to shame the douches involved and make a point to tell them to grow the fuck up, or get the fuck out. There are always going to be dumb fucks around, however its how the community deals with them that matters. Organizers should be embarrassed that the believe this a was a "great meet." Its clear it was a fucking disaster.

I hope next time we should have things controlled, Rcmp and Vancouver police should get involve in these situation, like the problem last spring meet 2013, no patrol and everyone got out of hand, this meet we see at least 3 or more get their cars involve in dangerous action which can cause accident that lead them and other's in danger, I wasn't there at the meet to witness, but good thing i didn't came...For those who were doing the stunt's in proving by being a uncontrollable jerk not to mention with technologies of recording your dangerous action, better just hide and keep away from society cause the image in their heads won't forget what a fool you been and done...
