I still remember a couple of summers ago, I was stuck in traffic in the Stanley Park causeway, due to an accident on the Lions Gate.

Bored out of my mind, I notice the fairly stock looking Miata beside me sounds odd... I turn my music off, and wait until trafiic moves a bit. Yup, monster Miata. Very stock looking, only give away was the sound (duh lol) and the dual exhaust out the back.

Old dude was driving, and when he caught me looking, I gave him a thumbs up, and he gave a smile and a nod. I got the impression he liked having a sleeper of a car, where only car people knew what he really had

I think it would be a blast to do.

I have always liked the idea of the 5.0L in a Miata. The 5.0L is fairly light, cheap like Borscht, reliable and sounds incredible. 300+ HP ain't no thing out of this engine and it'll still be reliable as well.

I saw a white Monster Miata in Richmond about 15 years ago. I knew exactly what it was when it was ripping down Westminister highway.

Do it, make some videos and post 'em up here!
