https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...25168991_n.jpg Ontopic: I'm glad the whole crazy hellaflush phase is slowly starting to die off... I'm still a fan of people with good fitment on their cars (meaty fitment or a decent stretch), but anywhere past -6 degrees of camber for fitment like the one in the video and it really starts to look retarded >_> What really is the point anymore |
i remember doing that crap on Gran Turismo 1 & 2 for sh!ts and giggles many years ago... it was to see how much camber i can do on a civic and how would it drive... now its a trend :( funny if they hit a pothole that they didn't see... bam! thousand dollar rims gone... |
Lets hope we never see that here in Vancouver |

The scene never took off here. Just go down south and you will see it's here to stay. |

Here's an example: Anyone remember that metallic pink AE86 that was around in '08ish? I believe the owner is some big drifter dude. Nice guy. Anyway, we were caravning to DTP at BC place and I was behind him. His car was so low that the front splitter would pick up cig butts. He hit a separation on the Granville Bridge and his whole front splitter/bumper exploded and bits went flying everywhere. Our caravan had to dodge flying parts thus not to damage our own cars. We all laughed it off once we arrived at BC Place but still, that incident could have been a LOT worse if there was more traffic around. Not technically a "camber" related catastrophe but just showing how other peoples mod choices can affect those around you and pose a potential safety risk. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for people doing whatever they want to their cars and even if I don't like it I can still respect the work that went into it and the goal that they were trying to achieve. That's how progress happens. If everyone was the same this scene would be boring as fuck. |

To me, trying to 1-up the next guy in the stance scene is pretty similar to trying to kick yourself in the nuts harder than the next guy. It might be possible to do it, but you're actually the bigger idiot for "winning" at it... |
