old set up

but in reality i agree with the majority of people here, a ridiculous amount of camber is dangerous. im not running that much camber with my new setup (2.5degrees) and i do feel it in my steering a bit. more on the highways where groves are more pronounced

:accepted:

Integragirl V2.0 it is.

Surprising how you guys that don't have much camber end up shredding your tires. How do you guys do it lol

westopher 03-25-2014 08:49 PM

Because no one ever seems to understand toe destroys tires. Camber wears tires unevenly, but doesn't necessarily speed it up substantially. I think I had -3.9 on my gti, and in 20k my P-zero nero probably had 90% tread left. I drove my rado with fucked up toe and the tires were gone in less than 2k.

Expresso 03-25-2014 10:46 PM

Exactly what I said earlier. Get an alignment!

Fuck you guys, see you like this in the summer

I got an alignment the other day, and my front left tire (Toe) was at -4.2 degrees! That was basically dragging the tire as i drove. Other side was only -2.6 still quite a bit i'd say. All corrected now though.

toe is typically measured in increments of inches or whatever the word i'm looking for is.. i havent seen it measured in degrees! that's something new. (i believe you, not trolling)

inside is toe, and outside is camber. It was way off none the less.

Totally agree. I have -4 on my GTI and my tires have no problem at all

Berzerker 03-27-2014 08:37 AM

Pretty soon they are going to make cone shaped rims so you can have a flat contact patch and still have stupid camber? Lol
