I cringed watching that trailer... I think the movie looks like chit. And all the characters were miscast terribly, especially Korean T1000 lol. This looks like a 6/10 movie

Looks like according to the trailer anyway that part of my dream is finally coming true. I've been sick and tired of watching 30secs flash backs of the man vs machine war in Terminator movies. I want to see at least 30mins of it if not a whole movie based on it. Looks like I'll finally get to see some.

The original T2 score would have been dope. The only thing I don't like so far is Jai Courtney. I just can't take him seriously. I also can't help but think that the fact that Arnie is no longer the governator and now getting a divorce tells me that he needs the money. So why not revive his #1 money maker right?
But fuck it, I won't let anything ruin what I feel I've been waiting 20+ years for.
emilia's face looks too cute/girl-next-door to be sarah connor IMO even if she's played her role as the kahlessi well
i would rather see her GoT castmate lena headey reprise her role from the canceled series
i forgot lena headey was sarah connor as well! that makes two GoT castmembers playing the same role... too much of a coincidence.

Negative, Salvation army showed more of the post war life. I want to see the the actual battle itself where John Connor leads the army of humans in the last battle for earth.

So based on a video I saw on YouTube, it seems like the plot is set in an alternate universe; there's no continuity from the original franchise. Apparently a terminator is sent back even further to protect Sarah Conner as a child and she's been with this terminator ever since, resulting in Arnold looking old because the living tissue on terminators age. Albeit, this is the same T-800 from T2 and the same T-1000, just set in a different universe
