I've seen this car in person, and it was in pretty rough shape. Paint was terrible, and the bumper was cut poorly for the tow hook.

The guy at Tyee typically sells out of province since people don't have to come and look at the cars (and run away). There's probably a reason their shop moved. I had a friend who lived near their old location and told me it looks like a scrapyard in person.
I guess we can always rely on Velocity Cars now? With them sponsoring the Spring meet, it should be a good sign, right?

Big market for Mitsubishi Delica's. I think it's the most common JDM car from what I have seen.

delica's have a pretty big market on the west coast as a reliable off road 4x4 camper.
it wont do any rock crawling or hillclimbs but for travelling forest service roads and getting off the beaten path they're pretty hard to beat.

Yes they did move from Campbell River to Courtenay.
I was in Courtenay last month and saw a couple Delicas. I've seen a fair amount of Skylines, 180sx/Silvia, FD RX7 here on the island.
I'd say it's accurate that a lot of cars are being shipped out of province.
Maybe the owners are lurking on here and can shed some light.
