I believe Top Secret Japan did that awhile back with a white MKIV. Its different and unique, but theres no replacement for displacement I'll stick with the 3L 2JZ vs the 2.8L RB26.

"no replacement for displacement", like 2JZ is a 6.0 liter engine... lol
The only MKIV I have liked with an RB in there is one on Supraforums that is rocking a full AWD drivetrain with it. Would be a hell of a monster with AWD, RB30 block,RB26 head and a monster turbo.
what is going on with those wheels... did they plastidip them or something? they even painted over the castle nut

That car they have had for a LONG time now.
I've built an rb30/26. It is a monster of a motor better than any 2j I've driven but not an easy build.

Few things to mention lol, I know the markup on this car, I dont remember the auction grade though.
Either this car was built a long time ago, or it was built recently and it was done by someone who's a cheapass, the RB26 looks like it was pulled from a R32 (maybe an early R33).
i always wondered about tyee imports.. general consensus is they suck?
there is a lot of negative feedback about them on the internet. but they are on the island and i've never seen their stuff so cannot confirm or deny.

I've heard horror stories about them from everyone. Common thing everyone says is that they sell R grade(accident, salvaged, rebuilt) cars and import them over here for cheap and then sell them here for a higher price.
the car itself most likely was a labour of love, however like most labours of love it will never mean as much to a potential buyer as it did to the original owner. just like the 1JZ Rx-7 that was at the WCCE meet. i respect the work, and the guy for doing it. but next person that wants to buy it wont feel the same way.
i know nothing of this import company, but it seems most importers get a bad wrap one way or another. So its a crap shoot.
