Nowadays it is really difficult to trust an automotive producer that claims it has come up with a practical supercar. Porsche does that with the 911 Turbo, Nissan brags about its GT-R and even Lamborghini talks practicality when it comes to its new Huracan. Well, you don’t have to take anybody’s word for this, at least when it comes to the GT-R - the Japanese supercar more than proves its status in the image above.

The adjacent picture shows us a grandmother that appears to be driving a GT-R to a brief shopping session. The lady was just exiting the Nissan when the photo was snapped. Too bad nobody got to talk to the woman driving this Gozilla, it would’ve been interesting to find out her opinion on the next-generation hybrid GT-R.

Now about that handicapped parking spot the car is sitting in... Perhaps she was entitled to leave the Nissan GT-R there, so those willing to throw out some evil comments should think twice.

Regardless of that, this image would serve as the perfect commercial for the Nissan GT-R. After all, the pic was snapped in the US, where such an ad would not be all that unusual...

LOL that's awesome.

It's actually not a bad car at all as a daily driver. A bit stiff, but swapping out the runflats helps with that.

My Grandma would rock it in a second. She misses her '69 Camaro. Although, she still rock's a 5 speed, I don't know how she would feel about those flappy paddles.

Timpo probably looks more feeble.

when the day comes you see an ad on craigslist for a GT-R that says "driven by grandmother to church on sundays"... this time it might actually be true.

but then again who knows she might do track days and has a framed white velour picture of the stig on her bedroom wall

KingKaze 03-25-2014 10:58 AM

I rather see an old lady stepping out of a skyline than another 17 year old with an N on the back of it.
